Reading

My reading age is secret and I scored below the New Zealand average on the E-astle test.

My goal for reading is to get my reading age closer to my chronological age.


To achieve this I will:

-read a range of material
-memory vocabularies that I can’t understand in range of material
-read during the free time
-work hard during reading sessions
-issue books from library


Spelling

My spelling age is secret.

My goal for this year is to get my spelling age closer to my chronological age.


To achieve this I will:

-practice at home
-read a range of material
-spelling homework
-learn words I don’t know how to spell
-when writing use a dictionary
-learn and use different strategies- e.g. chunking etc
-understand the different sounds letter make

Basic Facts

My goal for this year is to get 100 every time and complete my test under 2.30.
My first score was 100.

To achieve this I will:
-look carefully to each questions
-try do it fast and correct
-practice the wrong questions if I get in Basic Facts.
