My goal for reading was to get my reading age closer to my chronological age. I am getting it closer and need to continue to do so. To close the gap even more I need to continue reading a range of material, work hard during reading sessions and continue to increase my vocabulary.
To improve my writing I need to read different genre, read what I have written to make sure it makes sense and continue to plan my writing in detail.
My goal for mathematics was to complete my basic facts in less than 2 ½ minutes. I have achieved this as my fastest score is less than 2 minutes. Now I want to continue to develop my understanding of English mathematical terms. I will learn words I don’t know by asking for help explaining them.

What is Matariki?

1. What is Matariki and what are all its other names?
Matariki is the group of stars also they called seven sisters and Pleiades too.
2. How did Maori use it in more traditional times, like when they were travelling the Pacific or trying to survive in early Aotearoa hundreds of years ago before Pakeha came here?
They use it in the last few days of May every year and the ne year.
3. What significance does it have in other cultures from history?
It has been known since to cultures all around the world, including the Maori and Australian Aborigines, the Persians, Chinese, The Maya, the Aztec, and the Sioux and Cherokee of North America.
